Glad you made it here – our server offers more than many others! We are a dedicated team of four admins who have created a vibrant and challenging world that guarantees you long-term gaming fun.

Explore unique loot areas with customized spawn rates, discover hidden locations full of surprises, and find valuable items you won’t easily get elsewhere. Some bunkers hold especially rewarding loot, and the Brenner Bunker is always well-stocked – your courage will be rewarded!

Never pass by churches – you might be the chosen one to find a golden katana. Our traders have their own pricing – some pay better than others. Look around, ask other players, as not everything is listed on the website. Many secrets are waiting to be discovered.

You’ll find a starter kit at every trader and in our admin base. We are active, ready to assist, and always adding new challenges. Become a hunter, a mushroom gatherer, or a farmer – your efforts will be rewarded. Build wherever you like or take advantage of our player hotels at the traders.

⦿ Scum Server Settings

Our server is a peaceful place for PvE players looking to experience Scum in a new way. At Broken Chain, we value a balanced and exciting gameplay experience.

  • Server IP: 176.57.160.90:28102 (16 Slots) | GPORTAL
  • Language: German and English
  • Puppets: They are extremely durable, but their attack power is a bit reduced. They cannot jump through windows or open doors.
  • Disabled Threats: No Mechs, No Horde, No Suicide Puppets (Exploders, Screamers).
  • Vehicles: Wolfswagen, boats, bicycles, and wheelbarrows spawn naturally, while all other vehicles can be purchased from any merchant, with Athens (A0) offering them at a discount.
  • Vehicle and Character Damage: Enabled
  • Perma death: -1.000 $
  • Skills: Skills like thievery, endurance, and others level up faster.
  • Spawn Settings: Loot availability is generally set to 1.0.
  • High-Value Air Drops: Our air drops are packed with valuable and useful items (e.g., a charged IntModule or a Phoenix syringe).
  • Red Zone: In B3, an admin basecamp is available where new players can receive a starter kit, including a backpack and a bicycle.
  • Light Blue Zones: In zones D0 and Z4, loot quantities are doubled or tripled. Maximum stay of 2 hours with a vehicle or crate.
  • No Bots or Bot Systems
  • Restart Times: 03:00 and 15:00 CET
  • Darkness lasts from 23:00 to 01:00 in-game. 60 minutes in-game equals 30 minutes in real life.

⦿ Tips for Surviving on Broken Chain

  • WW Tires and car batteries: WW tires and batteries are often found in junk cars and trucks.
  • Zombie Eyes: From killed zombies can be sold for a high price. Drop more often.
  • Recommendation: Close doors in military facilities and police stations.

Special Loot and Item SpawningIn SCUM, items are spawned according to the following rule: An special item is often found in certain places, less often, rarely, very rarely, or extremely rarely. Therefore, it is always worth checking back.

⦿ Ongoing Server Event

• Time Race between Traders

A few weeks ago, we crowned our racing champion (Reaper8_8) with an impressive time of 32:21 minutes. However, the administration of Broken Chain is still on the lookout for even faster and more reliable couriers who can deliver from point to point in the shortest time possible. Whoever breaks the current record will receive 25,000 Scum Dollars + 250 Famepoints.
Procedure and Rules:

  • The starting point is the General Goods trader in Z3.
  • There’s a cabinet with drinking glasses set up across from the Armory (Z3).
  • Take 5 jars from the cabinet. The race begins as soon as you sell the first jar at the General Goods in Z3.
  • Your goal: Visit all the other General Goods traders as quickly as possible and sell one jar at each. Finally, return to Z3 to sell the last jar. Whoever achieves the shortest total time from trader Z3 to B4, to C2, to A0, and back to Z3 wins.
  • Each sale is logged to the second, and the data is made available to the administration daily.
  • Help from other players is allowed as long as no aircraft is used.
  • The use of aircraft is strictly prohibited.

    • A specially programmed script records the times down to the second, and no admin needs to be present. Just let us know once you’ve completed the race.

To ensure a harmonious and enjoyable gaming experience for everyone, we have established some basic rules for our Scum server. Please adhere to them so that everyone can have fun:

  • Respectful behavior: Treat all players with respect. Insults, bullying, and discriminatory behavior will not be tolerated.
  • PvE Server: No player is allowed to deliberately kill another player!
  • Starter Kit: Every player receives a starter kit at the admin base in B2 or at any Traders.
  • Airdrop: The player who opens the door of the drop first, owns the drop and can decide. Cooperation is always possible, and the drop can be shared.
  • Light Blue Zones: Vehicle residence zone for 2 hours and no-build zone.
  • Airplanes: Airplanes can initially be purchased at the Admin Base Camp for 100,000.
  • Vehicles: Everyone is allowed to own only one car, one motorcycle, one boat, and one airplane.
  • Flags: Each player or team is allowed to place only 2 flags.
